In his last corporate role he was President of a $500M multimedia and marketing services company.

Mr Markle is a curator of content, markets, ideas and technology possessing a wide range of processes to explore new market territory, new domains, new customers and to extract big ideas, evaluate them, then focus on strategies and successful outcomes. He is highly energized and has a proven ability to develop people and all aspects of an organization and successful in implementing business process improvements, defining organizational direction, and implementing leading-edge management systems.

In his career, Ted has played senior roles in general management, business development, operation and technology in media, manufacturing, marketing services and software industries in Canada, the USA and France.

Ted writes a weekly column published in 9 daily and a number of weekly newspapers, both in print and on-line.

Academic credentials

Mr. Markle’s formal education consists of a B.A from Laurentian University supplemented with studies in strategy and innovation at the executive development schools of McGill, Harvard and Columbia universities.

He has also completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Personal

Ted is thoroughly engaged in his community and dedicated to the causes of Child Welfare, Literacy & Education, The Arts, Canadian History and Animal Welfare. He is a board member of the Orillia Museum of Art & History, and a past board member of the Montreal SPCA.
